Phd cant find qhy5 camera?

I`m trying to connect qhy5 cam to phd using a st4 port on Losmandy gm8 mount. So far no success . In phd i`m connecting to CCD Labs Q-Guider option from the camera connection menu(for the mount on camera option), and all i get is NO CAMERA!!! Tried on 3 different laptops(win XP 32bit, win 7 32 bit and 64 bit) nothing. In a supplied

QGVideo software i`m getting an image from the cam. Am i doing something wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I connect to my QHY5 with PHD using Ascom v5 Camera when pressing the camera icon. Then a new dialog bos appears and I pick CMOS QHY5 Camera or words to that effect. That's it.

Make sure you have the ASCOM driver installed for this camera. Also check in PHD in the mount menu "on-camera"

Thanks for the reply ianaiken. I have tried that, but i had only 2 things

in the list(camera v2 simulator and simulator). I have ascom installed btv.

Did you install the QHY5 ASCOM driver ? For the guiding with PHD to work (at least with my 5v), I needed the 5v drivers, and the additional ascom driver for the 5v.

It sounds like you don't have the ASCOM drivers installed.

Got it guys:headbang:, it works at last. I was missing QHY5ASCOMSetup.exe

After that i got the camera in the ascom5 camera list.
