Vixen Polarie

Beautiful image Huw. I've had a Polarie for 3 months now but not yet had a chance to use it from a properly dark site. I'm also using a Pentax 55mm and have just bought a 1100d I'm getting modded. It will be interesting to see if I can get anywhere near your CCD image. Probably not!

Dear all,

I just bought a vixen polarie. However, i'm not too sure if it is working properly. Because the tracking seemed to be very very slow and move only a tiny fraction after half an hour. 

Can someone enlighten me if you have one working condition polarie?

Sounds to me like it is working perfectly - remember, one full revolution takes 23 hours 56 minutes 4.09 seconds - you won't be able to see that amount of movement by eye.
