Ode to a Supermoon

Apologies in advance, I would post this in the 'bad poetry' section, but SGL doesn't have one (yet).

A whole night waiting in the cold,

with telescope & tea,

A supermoon was out I'm told,

but I could only see,

the underside of dirty clouds,

which glowed derisively.

A supermoon was out last night,

I wasn't in my bed,

But waiting up all night alone,

to be dis-ap-poin-ted.

*Fetches coat.
