Skywatcher Skymax 180 PRO or Celestron C8 XLT

Looking for a telescope for planetary viewing and have decided on one of these puppies.

The 180 is slower and slightly cheaper while the C8 has one extra inch of aperture although I understand the central obstruction will reduce contrast a little.

Any thoughts/recommendations?

There's a similar thread in the equipment section you may want look over. Mak 180 or SCT 8/9.25.

The 180 is slower (f15) than the C8 (f10)
