help on EQmod download

HELP on downloading eqmod i have an eq6 pro i would like to run direct from the laptop but i just don't know what to download there are so many boxies and as you can see i'm not that good with this stuff but once shown i don't forget it so is there a step by step on what bottons to press becouse to me its mind boggling i'v tried to download it i thought it would be easy but i suppose it is if you know what you are doing:rolleyes:

i have bought hitecastro box thingy so i can connect the mount to the computer just the software downloaded

The main program to download is EQASCOM. You will also need to download the ASCOM platform from here. Install the platform and updates for it first and then the EQASCOM and any drivers required for the Hitecastro eqdir. The other modules for EQASCOM are optional extras.
