Guide dog Autoguiding problem

Hi All,

I'm trying to run Guide dog, I have a laptop and desktop both running windows 7 and on both of them keep getting the error message "Unable to start the IO.SYS Service Error Code = 1275"

Has anyone had this problem before and if so how did you cure it.

My guess is that it does not like Win7 it is not mentioned on the Guide Dog site. What version of 7 do you have, as if its Pro or above, look into XP Mode

Download Windows XP Mode

Or you could try running it in compatibility mode.

I get the same message when running in compatibility mode, It must be a BIOS thing.

Not a BIOS thing Kev. It's because you are running Win7.

I would try as Jon suggested and run in XP mode.

If you are not eligible for the Official XP Mode I linked to above, but you have a licensed copy of Windows XP, then try Virtual Box from Oracle, its free too
