hi guys, read up loads for hours, and still dont know which to get.

I have 8"classic sct lx200 and canon eos 400d.

i see the t ring and t adapter for the models, but also a "2 adapter.the scope end is smaller standard thread.

my question.would it be better to get "2 to fit into my "2 diagonal,or the standard ring ,directly into scope, advice would be much apreciated so i can get on and order the right one, thanks guys.ross

It's best to image without the diagonal.

The SCT to T thread will get you started, but you could also consider a SCT to 2" female adaptor and then use a 2" to EOS adaptor ring...this will reduce any vignetting.

You'll also probably find that you'll end up adding a focal reducer (x0.63) to give better views and this needs the SCT to T thread arrangement.......
