Missing something obvious ???

Having eventually got my "old" webcam footage into AVI from MPG I had my first play with Registax. Had some with relatively small image of Jupiter and all was well (for a first attempt). 2nd AVI had much larger image that the 256 box would not cover. Try as I may the box marked 512 would not come out to play and the result was a very distorted mess out of the Align process. Can somebody point me in the right direction please ???? I'm sure its a stupidity thing on my part.

Version5 , and thats got the better of me, it all looks so easy on the tutorials i've watched . Should possibly have not turned my back on computers after the Spectrum, playing 30 year catch-up.!

If your webcam has a resolution of 640x480 pixels then the 512 pixel size alignment box shouldn't be active. Ideally you should select an aiignment box size that the planet disc just fits in to.
