Currently have the 250PX flex-tube Dob, which doesn't get much of a run any more.

Looking at trading this in for a HEQ5 Pro, with a Altair Astro GSO 6" F9 Ritchey Chretien Astrograph.

Looking at something that will meet my visual and astrophoto needs.

I'd have to sell on the EQ5 Pro, and some of my EP's to reach the total, but I think it would be worth it in the long run. I feel the setup would get more use.

Moving the Dob has become a bit of a pain, with the current storage location. Whereas lifting and shifting the EQ5 I find far easier (I know the HEQ5 will be heavier).

So, what do you think? Anyone got any pointers on the astrograph that I should know about? Any pitfalls I have fallen in to?
