I took this image when I mistook Mu Geminorum for Eta Geminorum and imaged Sharpless 249 instead of The Jellyfish nebula by mistake!!!! As it was very difficult to make-out any nebulosity at all in the software I was using - Artemis by Atik - when I did see some nebulosity, having adjusted the display to show something, I thought it must be The Jellyfish!! Ho-hum - easy mistake to make!! ;)

This is the result of 16 x 360 second and 19 x 30 second subs processed in CS3 and DSS. The subs were taken through Williams Optics ZS 80mm II ED APO on an Atik 314L+ with an Ha filter. The mount is an HEQ5 Pro Synscan guided by a QHY5 through and ST80 and the refreshment was Tsing Tao Beer from China!!!

I've just noticed that the renedering of the large image by the forum is really not good at all! :)

Yours aye
