Budget EP - c7.5mm - 9mm ?

Recommended Posts

Looking at getting an eyepiece for my Skywatcher 200P

Currently have a meade 4000 series 15mm and a Celestron Omni 32mm both of which I'm very happy with...

Next up is something for higher magnification - in the 7.5mm - 9mm range...

Don't want to spend more than £50 and would rather buy physically than drom an online only retailer...

Does anyone have any suggestions...

Thought about the Antares 7.5mm Plossl, the Meade Series 5000 9mm Plossl and the Celestron Omni 9mm Plossl...

Anyone have any experience of any of these?

Thanks!

Why not online? You are missing out on the BST Explorer or TMB Planetary, both excellent and in your price range.

If you are going down the Plössl route then the Vixen NPL is top quality for £30.

Couldn't agree more the BST Explorer range are only availably online (from Skys the limit), I have 8mm,18 and 25 mm from them and wouldn't be without them. Give Alan an email, he is always helpful.
