Theophilus et al and Endymion

A couple of quick work-up's from tonight's batch:

Theophilus, Cyrillus, Catharina and Mare Nectaris:

Endymion and surroundings:

All with 150 Mak, Neximage (no barlow) and Registax 5.1. Seeing was very good for the first hour or so, then fell away.

Hopefully more images to come later.

Nice ones I tried to image the same tonight (with dSLR), but over a roof and seeing wasn't the best down here in my thread I posted the same craters asking for their name, I got the answer now Are these stacked or single shots?

Thanks. 300 frames each using the Neximage and Sharpcap, then stacked and processed through Registax 5.1. Should have also mentioned I used an ND96 Moon filter too.

I got similar shots with my DFK21AU618. I didn't process them in a systematic way so the colour casts and sharpening are not consistent.

EJW - yes I saw those and commented just before I posted these. I think your shot of Endymion/Atlas etc beats mine - it's an interesting comparison between the cameras and scopes we're using.

I'm "aspiring" to Steve1962's S@N winning photo of Petavius (I think it's in the showcase thread). I've got a long way to go, including a kit upgrade...
