observatory lighting

Recommended Posts

Am the proud owner of a Pulsar observatory and gradually getting used to using it. I don't have a power supply - maybe one day - so would welcome advice on the best means of lighting. Currently have a red torch and a red headlight.

Thanks

But some of the cheap stick on round led battery from b&q and put some red gels over them. The lamps are bright enough as they are designed to stick to walls etc in cupboards.

They usually take AA or AAA batteries and simply operate by pushing the lense to turn them on and off. You should only need 4 at the most.

Alternatively get a couple of the mini florescent tube battery powered lamps and do the same with the red gels.

Hope this helps. :(
