Ordering telescope tomorrow need help deciding

I decided on the skywatcher heritage 130p, but i have a bit more money to put in now, so i was thinking about getting the skywatcher skyliner 150p, is this a better choice for me? (this is my first telescope) what are the pros and cons of choosing the skyliner over the heritage? Also i would like to say thanks to everyone that has answered my questions, this community has been very helpful so far, thank you for being patient with us newcomers =)

I can't wait to get my hands on my first scope, and i hope the weather stays as good as it has been recently.

Plus any tips on how to go about taking astro photos would be appreciated.

To me the 150p you mention looks more stable and appears easier to modify. If you can afford it, go for it. I don't see any cons.

More light, better build and has a future upgrade path. The 150P is the clear winner. It's also the Explorer 150PL in dob form and that's a very well regarded telescope.

Go for the 150P, it's the true instrument of the two.

+1 on the 150P, it's well worth the extra cost, and will keep you happy for a lot longer without wanting to upgrade

another vote for the 150p ive got it and love it, it has surpassed all expectations great scope for panetary and deep sky
