Hi Matt,

Where abouts are you based?

When I lived in Malvern, my favourite spot was the small common at Holybush which is right on the southern end of the Malvern Hills. If the sky was a bit damp, you would get some glow from Gloucester but otherwise pretty good skies.

Another good spot is head to Toddington then drive up the hill to the top of the Cotswold escarpment, pretty dark up there as well.

Another good spot is out towards Bromyard. Gets really dark there.
