StargazerPaul77 Posted March 26, 2012 Share Posted March 26, 2012 Now I've learnt how to set up my scope properly (only been doing this a couple of weeks) I had some fantastic view's of jupiter and the moon and I've managed to log my first messier M45 (I think??) blumming brilliant. All the good stuff you guys are talking about were behind my house ... so I spent a while plodding through double stars in Bootes and surrounding area. My area is very brightly lit (I don't need a torch to write observations down, put it that way!) so I'm pretty limited in what I can see ... but I did get to view some fine doubles with the telescope, and the moon/Venus/Jupiter/Pleiades was just stunning!
