DFK 21AU04.AS Colour or modded SPC900 ?

Hi All

This is more curiosity than anything. As far as I can make out the DFK has the same chip as the SPC900 the only advantage is the higher frame rate?? So if SPC's can me modded to LX how come they have not been modded by someone to compete with the basic model DFK?

The reason the *21 has a higher framerate than a Toucam is because it is a USB2.0 device, the Toucam is a USB1.1 device so the data transfer rate is slower.

Thanks Peter but what I mean is there no way of modding the SPC to USB2.0 ?
