Hi anyone have contact with Preston Astronomical Society? I have tried emailing but cannot seem to make contact.

I would be tempted to go to one of their meetings James - I just googled them and came up with this:

"THE JEREMIAH HORROCKS OBSERVATORY

Welcome to the Homepage of Preston and District Astronomical Society. The Society (PADAS) meets on the second Thursday of each month from September to the following June . Meetings start at 7:30pm and finish around 9:30pm. We are now meeting at St Andrew's parish hall at the junction of Blackpool Road and Tulketh Road. Ample car parking is available access is via Tulketh Road. Anyone wishing more information should contact Dermot Gethings by e-mail at the following address

this is great thanks guys. i wanted to know how to join when and where etc i have sent a few emails now but never get a response and there is no number so i was thinking of joining the Bolton society can you advise how to join and more details the website is pretty limited thanks .

Meetings are 2nd thurs of the month at the above location, just turn up! Dermot has had a recent bereavement in the family so might not be checking his email.
