Clear skies - please!

I'm heading out to Dartmoor tonight for only the second time since I got my scope, so I hope the sky stays clear and that I'm not putting the mockers on it!

I've waited a long time for a clear sky to not clash with something else!

Sky was great, but at least 30 cars turned up (remote spot, not on the way to anywhere) and left again (after ruining my night vision) when they saw me with the scope.

I suspect it's used by the local community of Stan Collymore enthusiasts.

Conditions were awful tonight in Northampton; it was clear but you wouldn't have known any stars were about.
