A night of reasonable seeing allowed me to see a little more detail on Mars than the last few weeks.

The North Polar Cap is very small now, surrounded by a tiny ring of dark material.

Mare Acidaleum can be seen coming off of the NCP and in the southern hemisphere Mare Erythraeum dominates with Sinus Miridiani just visible on the edge of the globe.

Bright haze/clouds seen on both edges of the planet.

Celestron C8 plus Zeiss Binoviewer at x317.
