My poor M37 attempt

Hey guys, this was a quick M37 i took at the end of my session last night.

Over processed a little i think as the sky seems a little too 'black' as it were.

This is :

6 x 45sec

ISO1600

EQ5 motors (PA was a little off as you can see)

Starwave 80ED

EOS 350D

That looks great. PA is just fine for the short subs your taking. The star stretching in the corners is from coma which you need a field flattener to fix. But the stars are nice an round in the center and aren't blown out. I think you did a nice job processing.

Ok cool, i dont think that i can get the FF from Altair Astro seperatly, would any other FF do? Also, would i benefit at all from the FR?

Unfortunately I don't know which would work with your gear. Someone else will have to help you on that. FR I'm in the same boat. Sorry. Just remember a FR would also give you a wider FOV and bring your f/ration down a stop. The stop down is always better but the wider FOV is personal preference.
