Skyliner 200p Setting Circle

Ok, I'm interested in getting a setting circle rocking on my dob base.. I quite like the strip setup round the side of the base.. Getting the full length printed mite not be an option.. Anyone got any advice on the best way to join the strip? Also.. I take it that every 10 degrees is an inch? Anyone done this already? Any tips or advice on the matter would be brilliant..
