Can this cam be used as a guide cam as well as for planetary imaging? I'm looking for a camera primarily for guiding, but good planetary/lunar imaging would be a bonus:)

If the above is no good, what else would you suggest? QHY5? which version?

It has no ST-4 so you would need a direct mount connection (and I don't know if the drivers give support for PHD - probably the WDM driver does). From the QHY5* family the mono QHY5 is better for guiding and mono QHY5v is bit better for planetary (but it can guide also)... but the QGVideo for planetary imaging isn't the best and most stable in the world
