Open too options

Before i buy a Celestron nexstar 4se.

im looking at other possible options.

Budget £500 Max

1. Low mantainance scope with easy setup, mak/refrac etc

2. Good viewing scope, some bright dso's etc

3. Imaging (for fun), planetary & lunar

4. Portable but sturdy

5. GOTO mount but may consider a better mount if needed

Come on then give me a list of what you would spend it on !!!

it's a good scope on a good mount. The skywatcher 127 comes with the same mount and leaves you enough to buy a motor for it

I looked at the mak 127 but the not so sturdy mount/tripod put me off.

the tripod is a little flimsier but nothing a screwdriver and some loctite can't fix the mount is the same as on the cg4

your call, you said you wanted motors I was just suggesting a way it could be done for your budget. By the way the scope on the celestron is an sct, which does need occasional collimating
