Goto Handset to PC Lead help

I want to update the firmware on my GoTo handset and have a cable which plugs into the handset ok but looking at the plug on the cable (RJ11 or 12 I think) there are only 4 pins but the socket inside the handset has 6 pins. Can anyone verify this is correct please?

It might be ok. My update cable is 6p6c but has only 3 wires connected using the middle 4 pins.
