RA limits - is the whole worm used?

Hi

Just finishing my tweaking of the CG5-ASGT using WS2 grease and ceramic bearings. I managed to tighten up the worm gear and the spur motor gears considerably but at the same time everything is smoother quieter and lower friction than before.

My opinion so far, WS2 is much better than lithium/PFTE grease and the ceramics are an improvement. I'm currently running the RA axis in 'stand alone' mode to work the tungsten disulphide particles into the metal gears and it feels responsive and smooth with no play anywhere that I can see, very happy with it so far.

Just one question occurs to me, the CG5-ASGT has what it calls RA limits which effectively limit the movement to plus/minus 180 degrees. Does this mean that only half the worm wheel ever gets used?
