Just browsing this afternoon and came across an advert for a NexStar 80 GTL Computerized Telescope £50 on the "preloved" web site,

If it wasnt so far away id have it myself, its in Scotland and the couriers want more to carry it than I could buy it for,

It's no good for astronomy, says astrology in the advert

Not a bad price for a handy grab and go, some one will have a bargin

is the mount similar to goto [only way cheaper ]seems to be a 3star alignment process

It's an alt/az goto mount... bit wobbly but for £50 its ok... I bought one for £60 a couplr of years ago for a possible PST mod but currently it's out on post Stargazing Live loan with a work colleague and his daughter to use...
