Reflector and condensation

Recommended Posts

For now I have to take my scope inside the house until I clear out the shed and put extra security on it.

When I bring it inside the house it is really warm as dinner just been made. Obviously Ive been getting condensation (which looks really dirty on these mirrors). Is it bad for the mirror to do this too many times? Before I store the scope I leave the cap off and wait for the condensation to go properly and then store it with the dust cap.

Would it be harmful to have condensation often on the mirror? OR should I be ok as long as I let it all go away before I put the dust cap on?
