astro engineering UV filter, IR as well?

I have what is described as an `Astro Engineering UV filter`. I was wondering if this would incude IR blocking as well?

Just thought I would dig out this thread because I am sitting here with the same filter again almost a year on.

To be honest I forgot I posted this and it wasn`t until I did an internet search did I find my original post in the results!

I have checked it for I.R. by putting it in front of the TV remote and it does block the signal!

I havn`t found a way of checking for U.V. yet, any ideas?
