I have set and tracking the sun it be about 15 mins for it be round this side of the house and I have not got any solar film .so is it ok to just hold a card up so I can see it.

NO. If you can't protect the scope with a solar filter which reflects all of the heat energy then all of that energy will go through your scope and could/will damage it.

:headbang:Get a old cereal box.

cut out a small square in the side at the bottom.

put a pinhole in the top on the exact same side.

hold the box with the square cut out at eye level (look through the square into the dark box)

aim AWAY from the sun.

if aimed correctly the sun will enter the pinhole and project itself onto the side of the box you are looking directly at. You will see sunspots and the sun.
