Sparrow
I was actually experimenting with EOSmovrec last night to see what results I could get on Mars using the DSLR. Although it achieved an image scale similar to this image, there was less detail - not that there's much in this one. I really need to get myself another Schmidt for planetary work - the Newt just doesn't give the magnification. This image was actually taken using my old Meade LPI camera with a 2x barlow. Session brought to a premature end as I tripped over the power cable and had to do some repair work today. Otherwise I'd have moved on to my 5x barlow - that will have to wait for the next clear night.
