5 hours Ha on IC443 "The Jellyfish Nebula" with the SuperNewt

Nice clear night for the 1st time in weeks and of course a full moon, so no point in going for colour :)

I have added another 2+ hours to the Jellyfish Nebula and changed my processing a bit, hopefully making it look a bit better.

So 5 hours in 10 minute unbinned subs on the SuperNewt

Scope : TS SuperNewt 200mm @F2.8 = FL 568mm

CCD : QHY9 Mono + 2inch OrangeBright 8nm Ha Filter

Guide : TSOAG, QHY5, NEQ6Pro and PHD

Software : PI, CS5

I hope you like it, I am sure there is more I can do with the data, but I am out of practice.

You've certainly dragged the scope into the big league, Cat. It is giving a great result. Looks clean across the chip.

The Jellyfish looks really striking here.

Cheers Olly, it has been a struggle, but eventually the scope is starting to pay back the investment I have put into it.
