cheapo webcam for 150p

Hi guys an gals,

I'm looking for a cheap web cam + adapter to put in my skywatcher 150p.

I've scrolled through past threads and all the recommended webcams have become retired and no longer made.

Another problem is that it needs to be mac compatible.

Could any of you fine people recommend me some please?

has the SPC880NC been 'retired'? No wonder they are going for bonkers prices on eBay!

The problem is that AP is not high on the agenda for webcam maufacturers, so the ones that are any good tend to go for silly money, especially the modded ones. I have seen threads where folks have used Xbox cameras that they bought for £10 (adapters are fairly cheap on eBay etc) and had some good results. So just take your time and keep a look out

Companies are finding them very hard to find them so people are increasing prices because people will still buy them.
