Just invested in one of these...

TS 2" MONORAIL Dual Speed Focuser for SC Telescopes

A SUPERB thing - But in truth, looks a tad BIG on the end of my Skywatcher MAK150! :)

A TS dual speed Crayford would have been OK, but wanted easy "Motorfok" (focusser)

compatibilty with my 8" / F4 Newt? But then I thought...

Maybe I can start building Refractors! I have A Doublet Achromat from A (beatup) ST102 OTA as a start...

Not QUITE sure how one attaches (threaded) lens cells (SCT focussers!) to random (Aluminium?) tube?

But it looks vaguely possible... :)
