First try NGC 1662

This is a single sub....Havent figured DSS out yet. Seems on this picture out of a stack of 10 it will not stack them.

So single sub. I think this is NGC 1662.

I think the problem your having with DSS is that it can't find enough stars to "lock-on to" in order to stack. In order to fix this after you have loaded all your lights and darks and clicked "check all" click "register checked pictures" and go to the "Advanced" tab and move the curser closer to the left a touch and hit "Compute the number of detectable stars". Then repeat until you get about 50-100 stars. Then hit OK and you should be good to go.

I tried that but it did not work...I guess there just is not enough stars to compute hehe

What were the settings you used to take the exposures?

It'll work with far less stars than you have there... four or five is enough and you have hundreds in that image.

Have a play with the settings because it should work.
