eq5 / eq3-2 drives

Hi,

I currently have an eq3-2 mount and am trying to decide if its worth buying the drive motors, as I intend to upgrade to an eq5 when funds allow. Was wondering if any one knows if the 2 mounts feature the same number of teeth and hence the drives being interchangeable? As if so, I'll get them, if not I will keep on making hand adjustments, but its getting painful..!

The drives and gear ratios are different and not interchangeable. Gear ratios listed on EQMod site EQMod mount types.
