The SkyX software that came with my Celestron Mak does not want to work with Windows Vista. ( even though there is a vista symbol on the disc). Anyone else had issues with software from Celestron ?

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode? Vista is well known for having compatibility issues.

Never tried the software you are dealing with but do have one computer running Vista (wish i didn't ).

Yeah, try XP compatability mode SP2 or SP3

Chaps, thanks for the link, not too sure how to change the compatibility options.

I find Vista a nightmare with software installations.
