Mounting a 102 SLT on a CG-5 mount?

'Lo all,

I've taken some of the advice given on here and found a "new 2nd hand" CG-5 Goto mount, which I'm getting tomorrow to hopefully pair with a 2nd hand C8 S OTA when one comes along.

I'd planned on keeping my 102 SLT OTA to use for wide field imaging, but looking at it - the dovetail is on the SIDE of the OTA, which means if mounted on the CG-5 mount, I assume the focuser and red-dot finder will be sitting at an odd angle. Is there a way round this? And does it really make any difference other than not looking quite right?
