cant seem to get any more from this no matter how much i go back and have another go, have tried using the layer watsit in ps with the lower iso image i have but cant see no diff to be honest. so i'm going to leave it as is below until i get another run at it with longer subs.

30x60sec subs, darks same, iso1600 1100d on ed80apo

thanks. will be trying some 90sec or even 120 secs next time round at iso 800. cant go any longer i dont think as i'm unguided but will see what i can get.

Nice one.. youve got more detail than I can manage !! Have you got very dark skys ? think thats where im strugeling

this is all i had after stacking, the hardest bit is the post processing.

watch this,

it helped me a lot, but still cant get the hang of the curves bit.
