If I got rid of my dob ...

What should I buy?

Firstly I'm tempted to get a pillar standard for my EQ5.

Then I have a number of OTA's that are catching the eye.

TAL 150K

Quattro 8S

Evostar 100D

Skymax 180 Pro

Or I finish the refurbishment on my TAL 150PM tube and use that on a HEQ5/LX80 (which I may be able to trade for the dob).

The good thing about getting the new mount would be loading, and I could then use the ST80 for guiding.

Oh decisions, decisions.

Anyone see any obvious pitfalls?

Is the EQ5 mount enough for the 180 Pro? + ST80?

I don't think so, which is why I would not guide if I stuck with the EQ5 as my mount.
