Do the mirrors of a reflector telescope need to be focused

I'm new to astronomy and have a small telescope which I have tried to collimate. Do the mirrors need to be focused? I mean the primary is concave so it is focusing on to a specific point, which would ideally be the secondary mirror. If I were to adjust the position or pitch of the primary, what effect do those actions have on the focal point setting in relation to the secondary?

You will need a Collimator to align the primary to the secondary.

No, the focal point is past the secondary and at the eyepiece end, that's how you can focus light to a point with the eyepiece.

You will also need to make sure your primary(large) mirror has a centre spot to align it.
