Certainly.

First, get hold of a remote trigger, so you can start an exposure without pressing the camera's button, which creates vibration.

A good first setting would be ISO1600 in bulb mode for 30 seconds with a 50mm focal length. Focus on a bright star, either with live-view or using digital zoom on short exposures.
