What can I expect?

I have just caught the astronomy bug from the Stargazing Live programs and gone out and purchased a Celestron Nexstar 8se. I am taking it to my dads for a couple of nights and the extra eyepieces and moon filter I have ordered wont arrive in time. What can I expect to see clearly with the (x80?) 25mm Plossl that it came with assuming clear skies?

The 8se is a nice scope.with the 25mm you will see Jupitors moons, Saturns Rings, good views of the moon. the orion Nebula and lots more.

If you have a PC download Stellerium. you will find lots on there to see. you should see any DSO with a magnitude of 6 or less as well
