Hi all,

I'm learning Registax 6, so I'm going through some old data. I must say this software is amazing, it takes a blurred image into something half decent!

Still have a loooong way to go though

Nice detail there but a little dark. What gamma setting did you have when capturing with the DFK?

I would have had the gamma on the minimum setting. What do you find best?

The default setting of 100 seems to work the best giving a full disc. The DFK works slightly differently to a webcam with gamma..something I found out when first using it.

In the Wavelets tab you will find a button called RGB Align with this you can adjust the Red and Blue channels separately up or down and sideways. Also your image was a little under exposed. If your capture program has a histogram display then try to fill the display to around 80%
