dtr42 Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 hi.an old newbie [if you know what i mean] anyhoo been lucky in glasgow for the last few nights to have clear sky's ,however tonight decided to find polaris . so i found the great bear [looks like a pot to me:) ] and followed the line till i found polaris , but a saw an extra star crossing the path of dubhe and merak [obviously a satellite i hear you say ] but what satellite was it? [crossed at 7.10 till 7.15pm ] going north west is there a program for finding satellites [checked stelarium and no satellite was passing through those points at that time as far as i could see Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
