Syncan Location Set Up

Hello there, if anyone can help I'd be grateful.

When inputting my location in the device's location settings I have to use a GPS location, I have tried putting what I thought was where I was, but I am not sure if the format is correct.

For anyone in the London area, what did you enter into the GPS location to set up the scope right?

What you are inputting is the Longtitude and Latitude in degrees and minutes. You enter the Long first and then the Lat. For instance, hackney would be -3 degrees, 15 mins W (Long) and 51 degrees 32 mins N (Lat)

Thanks for that. I was wondering why my scope was always going to bits of sky no where near where I knew stuff was!

I thought there was just an American version of GPS settings compared to British, similar to how they do their dates, ie: month first!

You would enter the co-ordinates as Example: 003 15 W and 051 32 N

You would enter the co-ordinates as Example: 003 15 W and 051 32 N

003 15W, 51 32N. Latitude is a number between 0 & 90.
