Hi

I know that most of you here already have or use Stellarium, including myself

heres another one thats free, AstroWorkBench at AstroSoft - Astronomy software

Probably not the best choice for the complete novice, but theres an awfull lot of info and tech for those that need it

Looks interesting... but one fundamental flaw compared to CdC, Stellarium, Winstars2 etc..... no scope control !

It's also crude in that there is no scrolling in the planisphere you have to select each quadrant....

Some of the other apps look good... but sorry to say I'll be sticking with CdC
