Dearest Aldi Scope EVER!

I had a reply from him...

"it was brought from aldi last January for my step dad birthday n it was £160 but its only never been put up once so in excellent condition and its different from the one they sell now"

I have visited Aldi's regularly and I've never seen them sell a telescope for more than £80. The seller in question could end all this by posting it's specs on his listing for all to see. They are usually on a label attached to the side of the scope. From the photo on the first listing it looked as if it was there.

Well the second listing appears to of been pulled as the item "is no longer available"

Feeling reckless and believing I'm going to win the first prize of Lotto on Wednesday, shall i chance a nicker bid?

On the other hand, train fare to Cannock and back from Croydon, Centre of the Universe, makes another ST80 seem worthwhile.

That raises another problem, which should I use as a guide scope? Could Gaffa tape them together for a pair of bins.
