Autoguiding set-up

I have an Heq6 mount and have downloaded PHD do I connect the other cable that came with the mount from my pc to the handset or does it go into the mount or do I need to buy another cable not sure its the right size. Also do I need to download any drivers for the mount. Any help would be appreciated.

One way to go is to feed your guide cam image into your laptop and then use PHD through something like this

to control the mount.
