Meade/Celestron Vibration Pads : Issue When Wet!

Just so we're all on the same page, here's what I'm on about.

Here's my problem. I left my mount out (on these but under a cover) for a couple of nights. During the course of this there was rather a lot of rain.

Now I have brought all my kit inside, but the orange part of the vibration pads have started to lift out. They are about 8mm proud of the centre and external sections of the pads.

Are they busted? Is this expected? Any solutions?
